Presented by The Jamie Lloyd Company and ATG, PINTER AT THE PINTER is a festival of Harold Pinter’s short plays, poems and sketches, performed at his namesake Harold Pinter Theatre. Beginning in September 2018, the event continues onto February 2019.
PINTER FOUR is composed of MOONLIGHT and NIGHT SCHOOL. It is currently running in repertory with PINTER THREE, which features the plays A KIND OF ALASKA, LANDSCAPE, MONOLOGUE and a number of his other sketches.
MOONLIGHT, Pinter’s 1993 play, is directed by Lyndsey Turner and stars Robert Glenister, Brid Brennan, Janie Dee, Isis Hainsworth, Peter Polycarpou, Dwane Walcott and Al Weaver. MOONLIGHT explores the brutality of family life and the subjectivity of memory, in which the past haunts the dark recesses of a dying man’s bedroom.
Pinter’s NIGHT SCHOOL, first presented on television in 1960 focuses on a man returning for prison to find his room being rented out to a tenant. This new production, directed by Ed Stambollouian, stars Jessica Barden, Brid Brennan, Janie Dee, Abbie Finn, Robert Glenister, Isis Hainsworth, Peter Polycarpou, Dwane Walcott and Al Weaver.
