The currently UK and Ireland tour of LES MISÉRABLES has announced new dates and venues for 2019 and into 2020.
The iconic musical, which opened in Leicester earlier this month has announced dates in Plymouth (11th June to 6th July), Bradford (9th July to 10th August), Liverpool (9th to 26th October) and Cardiff (26th November to 4th January 2020). More locations are still to be revealed.
The tour is based on Cameron Mackintosh’s new version of the show, directed by Laurence Connor, which premiered in 2009 to coincide with the 25th Anniversary of the musical. This version, featuring new sets, costumes and direction from the original (still playing in the West End) subsequently transferred to Broadway in 2014, earning a nomination that year for Best Revival of a Musical.
The tour features Killian Donnelly as Jean Valjean (who was announced to be returning to KINKY BOOTS this month for two performances), Nic Greenshields as Javert, Katie Hall as Fantine, Martin Ball as Thénardier, Sophie-Louise Dann as Madame Thénardier, Harry Apps as Marius, Tegan Bannister as Eponine, Will Richardson as Enjolras and Bronwen Hanson as Cosette.
In addition to the new dates, the tour is scheduled to visit Dublin, Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham and Milton Keynes in the coming months.
