Caroline Flack Joins CHICAGO in the West End

It’s been announced that Caroline Flack will join the West End cast of CHICAGO as Roxie Hart from 10th December.

Flack, a former winner of Strictly Come Dancing and a television presenter joins Josefina Gabrielle as Velma Kelly, Mazz Murray as Mama Morton and Paul Rider as Amos Hart in the lead roles. As previously reported, American YouTube star Todrick Hall will play opposite Flack in the role of Billy Flynn.

CHICAGO marks Flack’s second stage role and West End debut after appearing in a UK tour of CRAZY FOR YOU in 2017.

Speaking on the role, Flack said: ‘I’ve been imagining playing Roxie since I was a teenager. To have now landed the role in the West End is a dream come true. I hope I do everyone proud and don’t fall off the ladder!’

Flack takes over the role of Roxie from Sarah Soetaert and will play the character until the productions closure at the Phoenix Theatre on 5th January.

CHICAGO returned to the West End earlier this year. This version of the show originally opened in London back in 1997, running for 15 years and garnering numerous awards.

CHICAGO runs at the Phoenix Theatre until 5th January.
