HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD Extends in the West End to September 2019

The West End production of HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD, playing at London’s Palace Theatre, has announced an extension of its open-ended run into September 2019.

Premiering in Summer 2016, the two-part HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD has enjoy massive acclaim from critics and audiences alike since its opening. The play, directed by John Tiffany with a script by Jack Thorne, is officially canon and the eighth part in JK Rowling’s Harry Potter series.

The current London cast of the play stars Jamie Ballard as Harry, Franc Ashman as Hermione, Thomas Aldridge as Ron, Helen Aluko as Rose, Joe Idris-Roberts as Albus and James Howard as Scorpius.

Last month, a soundtrack of Imogen Heap’s original music from the show was released. Additionally, the production has released a new trailer showcasing the first video footage released from the play.

Since opening in London, HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD has opened on Broadway with more productions announced for San Fransisco, Melbourne and a German-language version in Hamburg.

HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD is now booking at London’s Palace Theatre to 29th September 2019. Tickets are on sale now.
