Photos have been released of PINTER SIX in rehearsals. Marking the 10th anniversary of Harold Pinter’s death, the Jamie Lloyd Company has created a festival of Pinter’s one act plays, sketches and poems forming the PINTER AT THE PINTER season.
PINTER SIX presents a duo of one-act plays. PARTY TIME is a scathing and hilarious attack on the powerful and super-rich, set against the backdrop of state oppression. PARTY TIME is paired with Pinter’s final play CELEBRATION. Set in a fashionable London restaurant, CELEBRATION is a social satire about the vulgarity and ostentatious materialism of the upper classes. Both plays are directed by Jamie Lloyd.
The cast for PINTER SIX includes Ron Cook, Phil Davis, Celia Imrie, Gary Kemp, Katherine Kingsley, Eleanor Matsuura, Tracy-Ann Oberman, Abraham Popoola and John Simm.
PINTER SIX runs at the Harold Pinter Theatre from 20th December to 26th January. Tickets are on sale now.
