An immersive theatre adaptation of Jordan Belfort’s shocking memoir THE WOLF OF WALL STREET is set to open in London in September 2019.
The show is created by the team behind the current immersive production of THE GREAT GATSBY, with Alexander Wright directing and adapting the piece. Although a venue is still to be announced, producers have announced that it will take place over four-storeys and will recreate 1990s New York, trader schemes and will feature supercars. They also promise that their will be a restaurant and a bar, and that audiences will have the chance to trade with Belfort or work with the FBI.
THE WOLF OF WALL STREET tells the astonishing true life story of Jordan Belfort, a millionaire by 26, and a federal convict by 36. The memoir was adapted into an Oscar-winning movie by Martin Scorsese in 2013 that starred Leonardo DiCaprio as Belfort.
Speaking about the show, Belfort said: ‘You’ve read the book, you’ve seen the film, now you can experience THE WOLD OF WALL STREET in person. It’s going to be the greatest f**king show you’ve ever seen. Get your fun coupons now.’
THE WOLF OF WALL STREET will run at a still-to-be announced venue in central London from 5th September and is currently booking to 19th January 2020. Tickets are on sale now.
