SIX, written by recent Cambridge University graduates Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, is a concert-style show featuring the six wives of Henry VIII. The show fuses modern pop and hip hop music to remix the story of historical heart break to 21st century girl power. The show premiered as a student production at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2017 before returning the following year as one of the main shows. Upon it’s open-ended return to the West End in 2019, the show received five Olivier Award-nominations including Best New Musical.
SIX is directed by Lucy Moss and Jamie Armitage. It features choreography by Carrie-Anne Ingrouille, set by Emma Bailey, costumes by Gabriella Slade, lighting by Tim Deiling, sound by Paul Gatehouse and orchestrations by Tom Curran.
