Directed by Ola Ince (THE CONVERT), APPROPRIATE takes on the rich tradition of American family drama in a gripping play about ghosts and the legacies we are left with. Jacobs-Jenkins’ award-winning play follows the Lafayette family, who return to their late father’s estate in Arkansas to prepare for the former plantation’s sale.

APPROPRIATE marks Jacobs-Jenkins’ third play produced in London following AN OCTOROON at the Orange Tree and National Theatre, and GLORIA at Hampstead Theatre.

The cast is led by 2019 Olivier Award-winner Monica Dolan (ALL ABOUT EVE), and also features; Jaimi Barbakoff, Charles Furness, Edward Hogg, Steven Mackintosh, Isabella Pappas, Orlando Roddy, Oliver Savell and Tafline Steen.

APPROPRIATE runs at London’s Donmar Warehouse from 16th August to 4th October. Tickets are on sale now.
