Cast and dates revealed for National Theatre’s Inter Alia starring Rosamund Pike

Full details have been announced for the world premiere of Inter Alia at the National Theatre.

As previously revealed, the new play will be led by Oscar and BAFTA nominee Rosamund Pike, making her National Theatre debut. Pike is best known for her roles in Saltburn, A Private War, and A United Kingdom.

The National Theatre has confirmed that Inter Alia will run in the Lyttelton Theatre from 10 July to 13 September, with the press night scheduled for Wednesday, 23 July.

Further casting has also been announced, with Jamie Glover (Waterloo Road) and Jasper Talbot (Redlands) joining the previously announced Pike.

Inter Alia reunites writer Suzie Miller and director Justin Martin, following their acclaimed collaboration on Prima Facie. That production, which premiered in the West End in 2022, featured Jodie Comer in the title role and won the Olivier Award for Best New Play.

Described as “a searing examination of modern masculinity and motherhood,” Inter Alia features Pike as Jessica Parks, a brilliant and unconventional London Crown Court Judge. When a sudden event threatens to upend her life, she struggles to keep her family intact.

Miller and Martin are joined by an accomplished creative team, including set and costume designer Miriam Buether, lighting designer Natasha Chivers, sound designers Ben and Max Ringham, video designer Willie Williams (Treatment Studio), and casting directors Alastair Coomer CDG and Naomi Downham.

Tickets for Inter Alia go on sale from 6 February.
