Full casting has been announced for the UK tour of David Mamet’s GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS.
Joining the previously announced Nigel Harman as Ricky Roma and Mark Benton Shelly ‘The Machine’ Levene will be Denis Conway as Dave Moss, Wil Johnson as George Aaronow, Scott Sparrow as John Williamson, James Staddon as James Lingk and Zephryn Taitte as Baylen.
Directed by Sam Yates, this production of GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS opened in the West End last year at the Playhouse Theatre starring Christian Slater. David Mamet’s play premiered in London in 1983 and has spawned numerous productions on Broadway, the West End and around the world. GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS was also adapted into an acclaimed movie in 1992 which starred Al Pacino, Jack Lemmon and Alec Baldwin. The next major production is set to open on Broadway in 2019, with Amy Morton directing an all-female cast.
Set in an office of cut-throat Chicago salesmen, the play follows four increasingly desperate employees who will do anything, legal or otherwise, to sell the most real estate.
The production features design by Chiara Stephenson, lighting by Richard Howell, and is produced by ATG Productions, Act Productions, and Glass Half Full Productions.
The tour begins 14th February at Woking’s New Victoria Theatre. It will then visit Birmingham, Plymouth, Cheltenham, Cambridge, Bath, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Glasgow, Richmond, Brighton and Cardiff.
